A post a day about the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show, Klipsch Forté III

Happy New Year, Sound Advice readers!  I am back from the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and had a truly great time there. In the weeks to come I will be making a daily post about something neat I saw at the show, so be sure to stop back every day.

Something I saw in abundance at the show was mid-century modern styling, and that was fine with me because I am a huge fan.  Above you can see the Klipsch Forté III, a new addition to the old school Klipsch Heritage Line.  I’m not a big fan of the modern, mass-market Klipsch speakers but I love their Heritage Series, which are handmade in the USA and have great vintage sound. To me, these are TRUE Klipsch speakers.

Learn more at the Klipsch CES 2017 page. I’d probably go for a big pair of GoldenEar or Ohm Walsh speakers if I was spending $3,800/pair, but the Forté III with a nice tube amp and a turntable like the Pro-ject The Classic would make for a system with great style and sound for a retro-themed man cave somewhere.
